Decades of Experience
After years of litigating at large and mid-sized firms, founding partners Greg Smith and Renee Hoskins decided to form Smith & Hoskins in 1998. Having a small firm allows them to offer more efficient, hands-on, and focused client services. The firm has successfully represented a wide range of clients in Kentucky for two decades, with 75 years of combined litigation experience.

Having begun his career at Woodward, Hobson and Fulton in 1981, Greg has extensive experience in representing corporate and individual clients across a broad spectrum of legal matters both inside and outside the courtroom. He has litigated numerous trials in State and Federal courts throughout Kentucky.

Renee Hoskins
After being admitted to the bar in 1991, Renee went to work for a mid-sized Louisville firm practicing civil litigation. She has tried over 60 civil jury trials in the state of Kentucky.

Anna Rueff
Anna began her legal career with the firm in 2010 after admission to the bar. Anna has represented clients during all aspects of litigation, from negotiations pre-suit, dispositive motion practice, complex discovery, trial, and appeal. She has also expanded her practice to include mediation services for personal injury claims and civil litigation.
